How many other CMWCs have you attended?     I did attend a Confused Men’s Wearhouse Conference in Birmingham, AL, once.   3. What bike are you bringing out?         My two-wheeled unicycle  4. What title are you jockeying for?         COUTH-MASTER General …… please oh please let me take this title home, my GF will be so impressed. I promise i will not curse or swear upon receipt of title 5. What drink should someone buy you at the bar?         Bloody Mary   6. Tell me a joke or something interesting (about yourself) Q:    What do you call two Mexican Firefighters?  A:     Jose & Hose-B   Q:     What did the mexican say when two houses fell on him?  A:     “GET OFF ME, HOMES”   (the jokes above have been mexican-approved) 7. What’s the strangest experience you’ve had while working? Being suspected for some stupid crime whilst on standby at the Thompson center, 2005. These two cops come out of nowhere, accost me, and won’t tell me what I did wrong, only “YOU KNOW WHAT YOU DID PUNK”. This caused a considerable scene, and a large crowd amassed. Thankfully i had an alibi in my fellow standing-by couriers (shouts to hurricane, ‘Dre and whoever else was there). These cops hassled me for close to ten minutes before “miraculously” spotting the *actual* perp they were looking for in the crowd. Afterwards, i found out that *I* Had apparently shouted obscenities at the pigs for detaining some random guy on the side of the road, closer to City Hall.  8. What’s your favorite memory from a past championship?      Friends, fun, and beer,  9. Who’s your pick to win this year?      Supermike Rabdau 10. How many messengers are in your home city? How many messengers are in your home city? Are you organized with a BMA?  about 20, MBMA puts on Stupor Bowl and other events every year, and we’re doing NACCC 2014 MPLS!  11. Do you have any complaints about your work environment? downtown Minneapolis is nice, except for when the bike cops harass you 12. What’s the best thing about the job? the international community of messengers…. it’s an amazing thing to have friends all over the globe.  we’re all really lucky to have the tight knit community we have.

the international community of messengers…. it’s an amazing thing to have friends all over the globe.  we’re all really lucky to have the tight knit community we have.

I’m living in Los Angeles, No longer a courier, but worked at Apex here in downtown when was. Now I’m with Ritte Van Vlaanderen, the bicycle company out of Santa Monica.

Gold sprints like a rock concert at Club Asia! announcer, dj, unlikely finalists (Yogi from Australia kept chanting “Old is Gold!!”) and hella resistance on the freakin’ bikes!!! trust me, those guys are killing it. I felt like I could barely move my legs! Got second place for the women’s tho…

I found a vid (courtesy of Kym Perfetto ) of me in the Finals of GOLDSPRINTS at CMWC Tokyo…. I look slow next to Brooks but he only just beat me. I came a happy equal 3rd and 4th fastest time. That was my first goldsprints ever.

Brooks spun me out quite a bit as he was on his riollers for 30 minutes before the semi final all the while I was leaning on the wall next to him saying “it is not gonna help you mate” It was obviously freeking him out by the distracted look I was getting from him. He beat me in our final heat.
